There is also a dual flush system that has two buttons on the tank that lets you choose either an 8-ounce flush for liquids or a 1.6-gallon flush for solids. Bidets are another new trend in bathroom design. Developed in the eighteenth century for use in between baths; they are now used daily for personal cleansing. Some bidets have a faucet that fills the bowl and others spray a gentle stream of water. They require a hot and cold supply line and a drain.
